Jessany Borquez

We are proud to recognize Jessany Borquez as our Robles Student of the Month! Jessany is a wonderful example of our ROAR values—Responsible, Open-Minded, Accountable, and Respectful.

Jessany is kind, helpful, and always willing to lend a hand. She is especially responsible when serving as a class helper and can be counted on to do her best and support others. Jessany’s positive attitude and caring nature make her a wonderful role model for her classmates.

Robles Elementary All-Star Employee of the Month

Marisol Escobar

Marisol has been a dedicated member of the Robles team for many years, providing outstanding support through attendance, student documentation, and discipline processes to ensure our students receive the care and assistance they need to be successful.

At the beginning of last school year, our campus experienced a significant loss, and Marisol stepped into a new role without hesitation. She graciously accepted the challenge of serving as our Administrative Assistant, helping ensure that our school was ready to welcome students and families for a successful start to the year.

In her role, Marisol skillfully balances the needs of parents, students, and staff while managing phone calls, student registration, office operations, and countless responsibilities behind the scenes. She is also an invaluable support to the principal, always making sure everything is organized and running smoothly.

For many families, Marisol is the very first person they meet when they walk through the doors of Robles. She greets everyone with a warm smile, kindness, and a welcoming spirit that reflects the heart of our school community.

Marisol’s dedication, flexibility, and unwavering commitment to our students and families make her an invaluable member of the Robles team. We are incredibly fortunate to have her, and Altar Valley School District is truly lucky to have someone who serves others with such professionalism and compassion.

Camden Poggi

We are proud to recognize Camden Poggi as our AVMS Student of the Month! Camden truly represents our SOAR values—Safe, Open-Minded, Accountable, and Respectful.

Camden is kind, helpful, and respectful to both his peers and staff. He is always willing to lend a hand and sets a positive example for those around him. He also demonstrates great teamwork, sportsmanship, and dedication through athletics.

Tyler McDermott

We are proud to recognize Tyler McDermott as our AVMS Staff of the Month! Tyler works hard every day to make sure our schools have what they need to operate smoothly and that the needs of our staff are met.

Over the summer, Tyler worked tirelessly to help complete the many moves from the D Building into the B Building. He makes repairs, delivers supplies, solves problems, and even handles the occasional snake when needed! Tyler is always willing to jump in and help wherever he is needed.
