Tucson, AZ – Pima County School Superintendent Dustin J. Williams has appointed Christina Poggi to the Altar Valley Elementary School District Governing Board.
“I am honored to serve the Altar Valley School District and am deeply grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with such a dedicated Governing Board. I look forward to contributing to our shared mission of ensuring every student in our community has the support they need to build, grow, flourish, and succeed,” said Poggi.
The position will be up for re-election in November 2026 for a four-year term. Ms. Poggi was sworn in on April 23 at the Pima County School Superintendent’s Office.
