Challenge Coin Awarded

Altar Valley School District Governing Board Vice President Robert Ethridge receives his Challenge CoinThe Arizona School Board Association recently awarded Altar Valley School District Governing Board Vice President Robert Ethridge with a Challenge Coin by for his exemplary commitment to the Arizona School Boards Association and the causes of public education at the September 12, 2018, governing board meeting. Thank you, Bobby, for your commitment to Altar Valley School District students, staff, community, and to public education.

Child Find

Children who are between birth and twenty-one years of age and have a developmental delay, or are suspected of having a disabling or emotionally handicapping condition, may be eligible for special services. To determine if a developmental delay exists, professional evaluations and/or assessments may be conducted in the areas of:

  • Physical Development
  • Language and Speech Skills
  • Cognitive or Mental Development
  • Self-Help Skills (e.g., dressing, feeding, etc.)
  • Social and Emotional Skills

Altar Valley School District’s Child Find can help with a free screening and referral for diagnostic and/or early intervention programs.
