What's New

There's a lot going on in Altar Valley. Our District News page will give you a taste of why we are so proud of our students, our teachers, and our community.

Let's Get Shopping!

If you shop at Fry's and you like to help out the school, be sure to check out the Fry's Community Rewards program! Altar Valley Middle School is enrolled in this program, and we would love your help in raising money for the Washington D.C. trip. It doesn’t cost you a thing and the only thing you need is a Fry’s account and an email address! Once you have a Fry's card you can register to participate in the Fry’s Community Rewards Program. For more information, please call the middle school. Enroll now!

A+ Family Link

Altar Valley School District has implemented a unique way for parents to check on important data, such as your child’s attendance and academic progress (e.g., teacher’s grade book data). Access to this real-time web-portal called FamilyLink, dynamically links families to the school’s student information system. Using FamilyLink, you and family members can access information by visiting the Altar Valley School District website, navigating the parent quick links, and selecting FamilyLink. This is a very useful communication tool, and you may access it from any computer that has open access to the Internet. To access your child’s data and to use your FamilyLink, log in using the username and temporary password that you received from your child’s teacher at parent teacher conferences.

If you have any questions about this new service or wish to change your initial login username, please contact the school secretary at your child’s school.

Golden Parent Communication Folder and Agenda Planner

This year our Robles students will bring home a golden parent communication folder and agenda planner. Watch for student papers coming home in the communication folder. You will find homework, completed work, weekly teacher newsletter, and/or notes to parents. Please return any written communication to school in this folder. The agenda planner will update parents about assignments, and parents can write brief notes for the teacher. Teachers will check communication folders and agenda planners daily.

Middle School Sports

Students who are interested in playing sports for the 2017-2018 school year will need a sports physical if there is not one on file in the health office. If you have any questions, please call the health clerk at 822.9343.
